I second this! Such a shame that my 2 favorite youtube extensions are conflicting with each other...

I agree but partially. I don't see the conflict. 🙂
It's just that for this particular request ImprovedTube is a better place.
Of course, this extension has the code for that bar, but due to YT's UI changes, it is not visible to some users.
YT does these A/B test which impede any UI related issue's reproduciblity.
In short, the more we add features, the more frequent maintenance we'll have to do. ImprovedTube has an advantage in this scenario.
Unlike RYD who's core aim it to return dislikes (kind of), ImprovedTube's main aim is to improve YT experience. And it also has more active maintainers and contributors.
