Thanks for the wonderful app, we are using this app regularly. Once of the biggest pain point here is other that driver no one can control the app, mostly we are using youtube, Hence my request is you should add youtube android tv app on it, so that we can chromecast directly to that app using chromecast button in youtube.
For e.g when you want to watch any youtube video in your android tv then I can link my mobile to tv and whatever I want to play on tv that can be played from my mobile and it will be displayed on tv as it is linked. After doing little search I got a youtube android tv apk. When I installed that in my table then I was able to control my youtube using my other mobile.

I was requesting you to add some feature like that atleast just for youtube. I saw other issue where you mentioned that its bit difficult to implement chromecase due to authentication. But I assume this can be possible.

Or there should be an mobile option from where other people sitting in the car can control the app with using screen.

There is a long discussion about the authentication - thibauts/node-castv2#2 . A good solution is not found yet.

I used to be able to do that by using the CarTube app (i.e. selecting a YouTube video from my mobile directly and casting that video to the headunit via that app).
