ctrl+backspace
ctrl+backspace does not start delete words on the previous line if the current is empty, unlike backspace. Other editors do (eg: vscode).

copy paste the following
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog Pack my box with five dozen liquor jugs
move the cursor to the end of the second line and keep pressing ctrl+backspace
It should delete the full text (the two lines) word by word
