Specification Clarification. AppDynamics monitoring Datanodes in scope here?

Hi Folks,
Am I right in thinking this extension just lets you see the information which is normally available through Ambari (and some other Hadoop web UIs)- but see it in AppDynamics?

I am hoping to use AppDynamics to monitor DataNodes and Namenodes.

Hi Alex,
Yes, you are right. This extension allows you to report metrics to AppDynamics Controller from ResourceManager and/or Ambari through MachineAgent.
