As seen in #56, device-logs#36, device-logs#27.. etc, PHY_CONTEXT_CMD crashes with a BAD_COMMAND error.

Some of my initial questions:

  • Why is this isolated to these devices?
  • Did this happen before?

I have 3165ngw, according to my AppleIntelWiFiAdapter repo latest version, the problem also exist before.

for the 3160, the kext posted here seems to have scanning working. I get a list of available networks.

This project intends to use Wifi as it is, not as ethernet. This is what complicate things.
