Bug: Appimage creates visual duplications in X11 KDE plasma 6 task switcher

What happened?

If the archipelago appimage is active, and the kde plasma task switcher is configured as below the thumbnails are duplicated as the picture below the configuration picture.

By default the thumbnail grid shows a preview of the application window
