Requires a SPST toggle switch, arduino nano/pro mini,8x32 MAX7219 matrix, 5 WS2812 NEOPIXELS Neopixel library, MD_MAX72xx library, a gutted K cup for a diffuser and a box for everything.
Connect pixel strip data pin to D2, use hardware SPI pins with CS at 10, and connect switch across D3 and ground.
