So far, we have used toy examples to develop and manually test the various tools needed to build the OMR dataset.

We will soon need a more formalized workflow:

  • To automate the global sequence of tasks
  • To provide some parameterization (for example, which deteriorations to apply and to what extent)
  • To allow incremental population of the dataset (rather than regenerating everything)

Any tool suggestion? Any volunteer?

MuseScore synthetic workflow

  1. MSCZ --> Annotations+PNG
  2. Sanu's add-noise --> Annotations + PNG --> This is what we give to the world
  3. Audiveris Trainer --> Model

how to rename the files in workflow 2

In the Annotations/Source, perhaps we should add something to describe which "deterioration" was applied to the initial image?
