A stretch goal is to organise, catalogue, and use metadata to efficiently to reduce the input information needed to produce the hazard plots.
Currently, hazard data are in a range of formats, with varying metadata and directory syntaxes which make it difficult to reuse work flows from one hazard team to another.
Consistent and complete metadata could enable fewer user specifications to produce high-quality report-ready information and visualisations. CMOR may be useful in producing CF-compliant netCDF files (https://cmor.llnl.gov/ )
Updating dictionaries such as in #33 would also support more simple function calls to support command line execution of ACS hazard functions.
