Does the software’s “History” function have a maximum limit on the number of actions it can store?

I’ve noticed that the History function allows me to recover changes made to an article from any point in time. So, is there a cap on this feature? For example, is it limited to restoring only the most recent 10 changes or perhaps the latest 50 changes?
