Multi-line indent not working

Expected

When I select multiple lines and press tab I expect all the selected lines to indent (this is what the SimpleNote Web App does)

Observed

Only the first line is indented.

Reproduced

1. Open a note
2. Add multiple lines of text
3. Select multiple lines
4. Press the tab key on the keyboard

Using v2.19 on Mac Sonoma 14.0. Since starting to use the Simplenote Mac client a few months ago I’ve always experienced these issues.

Multi-line indentation fails

Note that many lines are selected, but pressing “tab” only indents the first line. Simpenote does not behave this way on web or Linux clients. I expect it to work like other clients.

Any updates on this? Running into the same issue. Considering switching out of SimpleNote due to how frustrating it can be!
