When deleting job from the details card the css overlay is not removed.

Should check every other delete action at the same time. Most likely this:

Change:
let config = new MatDialogConfig();
config.viewContainerRef = this.viewContainerRef;
const dialogRef = this.dialog.open(DeleteApplicationDialogComponent, config);

To:
const dialogRef = this.dialog.open(DeleteApplicationDialogComponent);

Edit: actually this might have been delete task. will check both.
