  • Cannot use user-assigned managed identity instead of system-assigned managed identity because it does not (yet) support firewall restrictions or private endpoints on the Key Vault.
  • Error when creating the vault first, then assigning RBAC on the KV, then creating another vault deployment with encryption enabled because supposedly backup items are already present.
