Local testing would be much improved with scripts for testing Core-Tools, VS, and .NET CLI. Things that would be nice for a script to do (not comprehensive):

  • Delete .templateengine cache
  • Install newly built packages from the build output of this repo
  • Replace core-tools and/or VS packages with the newly built ones from this repo
