With this release we have created a new structure to provide iSkyLIMS more flexibility for adding new functionality but also having only the functionality that you need in your organization.
For this purpose, this release has 4 modules:

iSkyLIMS core. It is a mandatory to have module, and it contains the kernel of iSkyLIMS.
iSkyLIMS clinic. Optional module focus on patient information.
iSkyLIMs drylab . Optional module to register services/tasks to bioinformatic unit.
iSkyLIMS wetlab. Optional module to keep track of the samples in the laboratory from the moment the sample is recieved in the laboratory until quality information is collected from the illumina sequencer data.

The main changes in this new release are :

iSkyLIMS wetlab
- Collect information during all steps in the sample preparation.
- Creation of flexible configuration to add information that different organization requires
- Include kits used in the steps of handling samples
- Inventory kits
- Changes in the layout for displaying information
iSkyLIMS drylab
- Allow to upload more than 1 file when requesting a new service/task
- Give the change to bioinformatic personal to split a service into several resolutions
- Allow to bioinformatic staff to request a service/task on behalf an investigator
- Changes in the layout for displaying information
iSkyLIMS clinic
- New module to have information about patient/origin of the samples
