I noticed among the bustools subcommands, the semi-published bustools merge and bustools mash can both be used to combine kallisto bus runs, with the apparent difference being bustools mash requiring the matrix.ec and transcripts.txt for each BUS file (thus requiring full kallisto bus output directories. Can the devs please enlighten me what are the difference between the two?
