We have a couple of services running on a single VM.
It became apparent that some of our log files where missing.
Upon further investigation we found that the sink was keeping the latest x files (in our case 30) in the folder rather than the latest x files for a file name.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
Problem is worst... If the logging folder was (badly) configure to be an application folder (i.e. Web Application) then config files will be deleted in time -- resulting in an obtuse outage,
