Move wiki to main bespoke repository #7
Comments
good idea, trying to figure out how to pull everything over now |
moved everything over, good idea! with this new setup, is it still fully community-editable? |
I don't have edit access to the new wiki, but it's possible that's because I didn't have permissions before. I don't know how that permission is granted because I haven't been on the administration side of wikis before. Maybe it's possible to make a pull request to the wiki somehow, or maybe we need to appoint certain community members as wiki maintainers. Something like that most likely. |
I updated the wiki to be publicly editable, so it should be all set now. hopefully it stays clear of any trolls, might have to rethink if that becomes an issue. |
Cool, looks like it's all set up now! I suggest we add a note to the top of the readme (such as the one at https://github.com/memononen/nanovg) saying that the wiki has been moved, just so people know where to go. Then we can close this issue and archive the repository! Unless you can think of another plan. |
The wiki here is really cool, but it doesn't get much visibility being relegated to a smaller repo in the BespokeSynth organization. (This repo has 9 stars compared to the main repo's almost 4000 stars, just for a metric.)
Given that the main bespoke repo doesn't have a wiki yet, I think it would only make sense to move this wiki to the main repository. That way more people will see it and (hopefully) more people will be able to contribute to it.
Thoughts?
