For example, the status code of the response.

Can you be more specific? Most calls to Terra()$... or Rawls()$... or Leonardo()$... check the response with AnVIL:::.avstop_for_status which tries to figure out what the error is (beyond status code) but I think this code is not very good so would appreciate examples where it fails...
