I mean the ability to select a portion of the screen instead of defaulting to the whole screen. Also if I have say 3 monitors on the machine that’s running Deflect, if there’s a way to choose which monitor it is capturing.

could you please illustrate it? But we currently put Deflect on hold and don't foresee much development.
Do you mean aspect ratio of a window?

you can use multi-window mode (experimental) on OS X build, you cannot select an area but you can achieve similar results by selecting a specific window |
That’s good to know. We are on Ubuntu though, does it only work with OS X?

When FFMPEG is installed, there are function type errors (We are running on Fedora 28). What version of FFMPEG is tested?
Can the selection rectangle that was in desktopstreamer in DisplayCluster be added in Deflect for us to use?
Can the aspect ratio have an option to be constrained like in DisplayCluster?
