Describe the bug
When setting the default value of a user field with a user id. The correct user is set. However, the field itself stops functioning as it is meant to. You can no longer search through your users. Additionally, you can remove users but can only re-add users that you have set as the default value.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Import the attached app
2. Navigate to the home screen
3. Click preview
4. Click on any of the user fields
5. Try to search
6. Try to remove users and add others
7. See error

Expected behavior
Should be able to override the default values attached to the user fields. You should be able to search through and find users within your user's table.
