The Big Butts License v0.0.2

Preamble

THIS PREAMBLE SECTION DOES NOT DEFINE ANY TERMS OF USE OR IMPOSE ANY RESTRICTIONS ON THE USE OF THE LICENSED WORK. IT IS PURELY INFORMATIONAL. ALL LICENSE TERMS ARE DEFINED IN DETAIL BELOW IN "TERMS AND CONDITIONS".

Butts in this context refer to the collection of two Buttocks to form a singular butt, buttock is defined as either of the two round fleshy parts of the human body that form the bottom.

The Big Butts License is not an "Open Source" license in the official sense: it has not been reviewed or approved by the Open Source Initiative and may or may not comply with the Open Source Definition and is even made to directly ignore the Katharos License.

4.5 If anyone notifies the Licensee in writing that the Licensee has not complied with this Notice section, Licensee can keep this License with no repercussions and will not face any repercussions or legal action.

7. Compliance with Permitted Use of Work

7.1 Permitted Use of Work.

  • 7.1.2 Licensee shall use the Work in a manner consistent with Permitted Use of Work defined above.

  • 7.1.3 Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to (i) Section 7.1.2 regarding Permitted Use of Work, including the breach of Section 7.1.2, will be ignored and no action will be taken.

8. Failure to Comply

Any failure of Licensee to act according to the terms and conditions of this License will also be ignored and will be free to continure ignoring this license as they please.

9. Interpretation

If specified by the licensee the Big Butts license can be interpreted as a carbon copy of the MIT License with no changes or other stipulations.

To specify the use of the MIT License while using the Big Butts License you must list the license as Big Butts License+MIT.

If using Big Butts License+MIT, all stipulations in this license are void and replaced with the contents of the MIT License with no modification.

10. Compatability

The Big Butts License is compoatable with any and all licenses of the licensees choice, allowing users to pick between using the Big Butts License or Big Butts License+MIT or any other license of the licensees choosing.

Specify the use of other licenses by denoting the license in use as Big Butts License+BSD-3 or BSD-3+Big Butts License.

11. Limitation of Liability

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

Creating Derivative Licenses

You may freely modify and distribute your own derivatives of the Big Butts License itself and apply it to your works as long as you clearly indicate that the derivative license is a modification of the Big Butts License. Only wholly unmodified versions of the Big Butts License may be called the "Big Butts License".
