Feature set that provides users with the ability to manage a variety of devices on the AWS IoT platform. The Epic includes a range of user stories that allow users to manage AWS IoT devices, LoRaWAN devices, and edge devices in a seamless and integrated manner.
The Epic includes the following user stories:
As a user, I want to manage AWS IoT devices: This user story allows users to monitor and manage AWS IoT devices, including tasks such as device provisioning, registration, monitoring, configuration, and management.
As a user, I want to manage LoRaWAN devices: This user story allows users to manage LoRaWAN devices, including tasks such as device provisioning, registration, monitoring, configuration, and management.
As a user, I want to manage edge devices: This user story allows users to manage edge devices, including tasks such as device provisioning, registration, monitoring, configuration, and management.
As a user, I want to manage device groups: This user story allows users to group their devices based on common characteristics, such as device type or location, and manage the groups as a single entity.
As a user, I want to manage device firmware updates: This user story allows users to update the firmware of their devices, either individually or in groups, to ensure that the devices are running the latest software and security patches.
As a user, I want to manage device connectivity: This user story allows users to manage the connectivity of their devices, including tasks such as configuring network settings, monitoring network performance, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
As a user, I want to manage device security: This user story allows users to manage the security of their devices, including tasks such as configuring device authentication, access control, and encryption.
By providing users with the ability to manage AWS IoT devices, LoRaWAN devices, and edge devices in a unified and integrated manner, the Epic helps to streamline the device management process and reduce the operational overhead associated with managing disparate device types. This allows users to focus on developing and deploying their IoT applications with greater ease and efficiency.
By implementing support for both Azure IoT Hub and AWS IoT Core, we can provide a more versatile and interoperable solution for IoT device management, which can help our customers to achieve their IoT goals with greater flexibility and ease.
