Hi, thanks for the plugin.

I tried to apply it to my distro-provided QtCreator but couldn't due Qt version incompatibility.
So I decided to give it a try with Flathub-provided version https://flathub.org/apps/details/io.qt.QtCreator but failed again.

This all make me think the distribution channels of this plugin are very impractical, suitable only for QtCreator manually installed with standalone installer (in best case).

To improve the situation I wonder is there any interest of providing this plugin as Flatpak extension with distribution on Flathub?
It seem that scheme would be supported by QtCreator Flatpak maintainer: flathub/io.qt.QtCreator#22

As an examples of other project plugins distributed such way several GIMP plugins can be named:

@bam80 Thank you for reaching out.
My current thinking is that if I spend the effort to change packaging, I would rather try and get the plugin distributed as part of Qt Creator. That should hopefully also address your issue.

For now I am leaving the issue open since it is on my roadmap, I am just not sure when I will be able to pick up on this.

What distribution are you using, I am curios why a manual install is not a possibility?

Ubuntu 22.04. I had to install Qt6 to resolve all the dependencies but still Qt Creator denies to accept the plugin claiming Qt version used is incompatible.
