1. NA Fleets Start from the Front Bottom Left but there is no standard convention after that. This can be a VMRS /Future Data Science activity within TMC. Cargo Additude? could also be a discussion item.

2. VMRS has coding for Trailer Shelfs and Partitions.

3. Cargo location and weight is important for axle load.

Rule of thumb in NA is that 30% of the load is in the first 10 Feet/30% of trailer and 70% of load is in the rear of the trailer.

5. Shifting load monitoring is important to fleets as well as OEMs for overlapping reasons of liability for load liability and total safety.

6. Load Shock Example: Mayo jars and Batteries can be hot when shipped from a factory making them more prone to rupture. Did the jars / batteries break from the shock of the fork lift placing the pallet or road shock after the truck moved from the dock. Trucking company is liable for the load either way without data.
