This is a list of the commonly known issues, some of which are out of our control to resolve.

mod/VIP badges aren't showing up	FFZ is/was blocked in Russia, disable the Use custom FrankerFaceZ... settings If you aren't in Russia, search clear in settings, click clear cache & restart
Event emotes don't appear in the Emote menu and cannot be tabbed	nightly
Certain Live channels don't show up as Live	Disable these Twitch settings Content Display Preferences
Follower Emotes cannot be tabbed outside of their host channel	2.5.0 or newer
SslHandshakeFailedError	Do this: #4941 (comment)
Total followers do not load in the usercard	2.4.6 for Windows 2.5.0 for macOS/Linux
Twitch badges do not load ¹	2.4.3 or newer
The Chatter/Viewer list does not load	2.4.2 or newer
FrankerFaceZ emotes do not load	2.4.2 or newer
Twitch commands such as /ban /timeout /mods do not work	2.4.1 or newer

1. You are also now required by Twitch to be logged in to load badges. If you are already on a newer version,
   search cache in settings, click the clear cache button, and restart Chatterino.

Blocked Issues	Notes
Windows attempts to block the installer	Not fixable without time or money, See #4908 (comment) for an explanation.
BTTV emotes aren't auto-updating	#4916 (comment) - If you open Chatterino during non-prime time (morning NA), it's more likely the feature will work.
Previews of Imgur links no longer work	The link resolvers IP is completely blocked, likely due to being caught in the post-reaction from the internet archiving every image before they could delete them.

All versions earlier than 2.4.0 are expected to have the following features break around the end of December 2023:

• Your available Twitch emotes will no longer load.
• Usercards will be missing subage and followage.
