1.7.10 CTRL+MWheel Combination

I can't tell exactly when, but this shortcut was activated, and is messing up my inventory every now and then, because CTRL is my sprinting key. How do I disable it other than rebinding? It's not MouseTweaks or whatever, because I launched w/o NEI and the inventory scrolling worked just fine.

Found out this happens when I'm in Creative Plus, but how is it possible for a player to have HP-armor-hunger bars and be in Creative Plus at the same time?
Then again, if it's intended, you might as well consider this a false alarm and close
