NEI 1.7.10 crashes when moving items with shift

Basically, I crash when moving items with shift. I really need to use NEI in my pack, it's got 170 mods in it, all in all adding about 20k+ items and blocks. Does anyone have a solution for this? I saw another issue that had the exact same thing happening, but no solution.
