This repository contains a brief analysis of the ice cover over time
on Lake Mendota in Madison, WI, visualized as a stacked timeline,
ice_cover_1855_2020.png.
Running make will reproduce the visualization.
To explore the visualization more interactively, try running
the 'blocks' notebook in the /scripts folder.
Information about the original data is in the data README.
See the requirements.txt file for module dependencies on top of python3.
