One should be able to define approval mechanism within the workflows and the engine should properly handle it #1006

As an author, it would be great to have the option to place certain steps within an approval based building block, controllable at author time in terms of who/what/how.
At run-time such workflows should act accordingly and notifications and other required actions (approve.deny, approve.confirm, and so on) should be processed by the engine (without the need for the other to use send mail operations or other flow constructs)
