What are your tools in redrawing animals?

I play SAR recently, and gradually find multi clock GIF in multi streaming. This inspires me how these awesome works come from, and finally I find your project!

I'm interested in your project and wanna ask whether I can add my own style clock to this project? But for the consistency, I wanna ask what are your tools in redrawing animal and how do you redraw these work?
