A logo for this application is needed. Along with the logo, a large banner and color scheme.

something like this? but not that complex.

Yea something like that, nothing too formal or complex though. From this, the color scheme and logo, i can start designing the UI for the app.

cool. So you have any choice of a colour pallet to go with this?

Not particularly fixed on a palette, but it should use material design. Hows something like this?
Primary Color is Blue
Accent Color is Purple

damn! no offence. but blue and this purple do not go together(gradian might be work but using as single colours, not at all). no one frames the colours as material design. material design is a design guideline. just for UI works. that's not related to colours.
