Value measures Effort != Outcome
But we may need to make architectural decisions that would cut off some future options. Those should be taken carefully.
Refactoring, is a tricky "not done" area for developers.

Hi @rogerspooner , I didn't have anything specific in mind, just so we could try to think about a way of doing an exercise/game/roll play way of showing the impact of the work not done. If you want we can try to do a brainstorm on this.
