Issues for absolute beginners

I'm trying to work on a project for the Learn Git & GitHub module, but I'm having difficulty finding an unclaimed issue suitable for an absolute beginner to work on. It seems most of the unclaimed issues with the "good first issue" tag relate to Dart, and I'm not certain that is a good place for someone with very limited coding experience to begin. Any suggestions?
