I imagine this likely depends somewhat on zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr#67327 and zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr#67328 which I'll be bringing up in next weeks Zephyr Arch WG and would love to see feedback on the issues so its known to the hardware vendors this is a desired feature.
