Deleting more than one character at a time with backspace impossible
Steps to Reproduce
Create an odt document
Type a line
Go back to a former word and try to delete several characters in a row using backspace
Expected Behavior
That I can delete as much as characters in a row as I want
Actual Behavior
After the deleting the first character the second is not deleted anymore
*Edit 10 Dec. 2024
After typing a single word I can delete as much characters as I want of that particular word using backspace, AS LONG AS I HAVEN'T INSERTED A SPACE.
Insert a space, and then type a second word.
When I go back to the first word, I can only delete one character with backspace. After the first deletion further deletions are not possible anymore. So the problem somehow seems to be related to using the spacebar.

Same thing with the AOSP keyboard in LineageOS. I don't think they have an interest in the open source/degoogled community considering how old this bug is.
