I don't know what may be the cause, but none of the side apps (Growl iTunes and Hardware Growler) works with Hiss, even when Growl is open, it just pass them in Growl... Maybe those apps don't use the standard protocol, which would explain everything but it would be great to check it out and, if the problem is unsolvable, maybe just say it on the website or something...

Anyway, good job with the app!
