Menu bar location in recent frontend revisions

Obviously, I've noticed that there is no option to put the menu bar on the bottom of the screen, now, in the ComfyUI settings. The only options are "top" and "disabled" (although disabling it doesn't seem to do anything - the menu bar is still there at the top of the screen).

Personally, I much prefer bottom menu bars in programs with similar layouts (such as Blender). This is why I've been using the older 1.28.9 frontend - because I find the lack of ability to put the menu bar where I want it to be frustrating.

Is there any plan to restore the ability to put it on the bottom?

I totally agree with you; I prefer bottom menu bars too.

I just updated ComfyUI today and noticed that the menu bar is now floating at the top, with no option to move it to the bottom bar like in the previous version.
I tried using an older frontend version, but the backend new version requires frontend v1.30.6 or higher. Unfortunately, none of these allow me to move the floating menu bar to the bottom.

I don't want anything floating on the canvas, so the options to 'disable' or 'top' for the menu aren't helpful at all.

Is there a way to restore the old UI while ensuring compatibility with the new backend? Or do I just need to wait for an update?"
