App Version

After installation, when I try to download the missing nodes and models, it all shows that the download fails with error messages. What's the reason for this? Can you help me solve this problem?

Hey @Tommy777sjy! I'm here to help you with any bugs, questions, or contributions you might have. Let's squash those bugs together!

A "Bad Request" error during the installation of nodes and models in ComfyUI can be caused by several factors. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

  1. Check Network Connection: Ensure that your internet connection is stable and that there are no network restrictions preventing access to the required resources.

  2. Verify URLs: If you are using specific URLs to download nodes or models, make sure they are correct and accessible.

  3. Review Logs: Check the detailed error messages or logs for more information. You can find these logs in the ComfyUI log directory:

    • On macOS: ~/Library/Logs/ComfyUI
    • On Windows: %AppData%\ComfyUI\logs
    • On Linux: ~/.config/ComfyUI/logs
These logs can provide more insight into what might be causing the "Bad Request" error [1].
  4. Dependencies: Ensure that all necessary dependencies for the nodes and models are installed. Missing dependencies can lead to installation failures [2].

  5. Conflict Warnings: If there are conflict warnings in the interface, try resolving these conflicts as they might be causing the installation to fail.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to provide more specific error messages or logs to further diagnose the problem.
