TACAN/MCL issues in DCS 2.9

Getting preliminary reports of multiplayer TACAN and MCL related crashes or systems not working in the new 2.9 OB. Some replication and detail might be helpful.

Software Information (please complete the following information):

• DCS Version: 2.9.2 open beta
• A-4E Version 2.2

• part of the culprit here may be the version of DCS the mission was created in. so long as the mission is created in DCS 2.9 or later, the issue does not occur as frequently. if it was created in DCS 2.8 or earlier, it does. some additional replication and confirmation from others would be great.
• other reports indicate this may be a function of the number of units in the mission.

add to troubleshooting documentation to re-save missions with the current version of DCS if TACAN or other radio issues are encountered.

Can confirm. Tuning TACAN channel causes DCS to lock-up/crash. Experienced twice in same mission. Turning TACAN on or off is fine. Attempting to tune channels is the problem. Occurred on carrier deck after cold start, and on RTB attempt to tune TACAN to locate carrier.

Issue still exists in missions created in DCS 2.9

Temporary fix in the dev build here if anyone wants to test it, download and replace this file for /A-4E-C/Cockpit/Scripts/Systems/mission.lua

when we're running up to release and this issue is fixed, i'll close it. that's the best notification to look for i can think of that a release is imminent!
