Well, Microsoft has kept their web translator around a month or so beyond the deadline, however it seems to have finally been taken offline, which breaks the Translator feature in SmartCookieWeb, since it just forwards it to the standard translation page, instead of the Web Translate page.
What should be done now?
The quickest thing would be to remove the feature from the browser, however Google Translate also has a webpage translator, and there is always the option of integrating a translation library to the browser (might be a thought for SmartCookieWeb-Preview, with Mozilla's in-testing offline translation add-on (which does not yet work on Mobile Firefox, however, since while I was able to install it in SmartCookieWeb-Preview, I could not get it to function) being one option.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm working on something based on Mozilla's offline translation add-on for SmartCookieWeb which should be available soon.
The Mozilla add-on should (in theory) work in SmartCookieWeb Preview, though - once I've worked on the SmartCookieWeb translator I'll look into why the add-on isn't working correctly on mobile.
Interesting, I'll test again next week with the recently released version and see whether it was merely due to using an old Gecko version.
By the way, would you happen to know why the version in the Play Store (I use Aurora Store for that, since I do not run Google's Play services, so I can see the size of the individual APK Splits without actually downloading them) is so heavy in comparison to the APK in the releases section here?
