We are using HSC SSP Y1 data provided by @WentaoLuo. The HectoMAP field overlaps with UNIONS.

Goals:

Compare UNIONS and HSC star catalogues, check completeness and purity.
Look at color and other information from HSC.

Next steps:

Get HSC mask, use SP mask to better define common footprint.
Get additional properties in SP star cat (magnitude, SNR, …)
Use all stars, not just validation set
Study influence of SP setting on size and purity of star sample
