160p Test Suite, a tool to test aspects of GBA emulators' video and audio output, can be built with either devkitARM or Wonderful Toolchain. Official BIOS will run either one. Cult of GBA BIOS won't run the Wonderful build.

Version:
Cult of GBA BIOS 0d9dd3e
SHA-256: 43b0e0bf8dc333d241f691de17978830b41489830ee7313ad1f070cea64bb51a

ROM used:
160p_versions.zip (free software, GNU GPL v2 or later)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Configure Mesen 2 or mGBA 0.11.x to use Cult of GBA BIOS.
  2. Run the devkitARM build of 160p Test Suite. On the second page of the main menu, choose "Lame boy", "Shadow sprite", and "Sound test > G major (PCM)".
  3. Repeat step 2 with the Wonderful build.
  4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 with a BIOS dumped from your GBA (SHA-256 fd2547724b505f487e6dcb29ec2ecff3af35a841a77ab2e85fd87350abd36570).

Actual behavior:
The devkitARM build works, and the Wonderful build crashes with a black screen in Mesen and "Jumped to invalid address: 3AFFFFF6" in mGBA.

Expected behavior:
Like official BIOS. Both the devkitARM and Wonderful builds work on my GBA using an EverDrive GBA X5 and in Mesen and mGBA using a BIOS dumped from my GBA .
