Can´t find anything about this being a desired feature, should this be added?
This would also affect the backend API for other tools,
@olhsha : is there a default timeout for the current login session in the backend?

This is one of many security features. Right now seems that security has lower priority than other functionality.

As far as it is about backend, this is an issue if it goes about webannotator-basic. I will consult how to fix it.
In general, I'm about to call DASISH security meeting within "Nijmegen" the next week.
