Some of the project members may be interested in receiving some training on best practices. Discuss this and, if necessary, provide the training.

These are the training needs:

  • Getting the most out of GitHub
    • Proper use of branches
    • Proper use of pull requests
    • Communicate via issues
    • Continuous integration
  • Reproducible workflows
    • For big data pipelines running in HPCs

They estimate an attendance of roughly 10 students. Even more, if other groups want to get involved.

I started a conversation with Sven to see how we can articulate this.
