Right now the "abstract" button that appears underneath a publication name brings you to (what we call) the "publication page". This shows all available detail of the publication including the abstract (if available). If no abstract is available then this page is basically just the same as the publication listing (title, authors, journal), and it is a wasted click for the user!
I think the abstract button should only appear if we have an abstract available.
