In weird cases where a plate becomes a U plate only at the library stage, there is no way in waldo to click the little button that says its rotated. So then when it comes to the capture plate, the automated merging and rotating of the U plate didn't work. This is a VERY RARE thing to happen (we did it for the single stranded scrum tests) so might not be an issue going forward, but something to consider

we used the Blob upload function to bypass this issue, so the wetlab can handle it on their end. But it does mean that the little check box is not ticked off for the U plates that were made for this testing (Scrum.1.U_DS and Scrum.2.U_DS)
