I have seen this issue on some Reddit posts and other forum sites about this issue, but I can't figure out how to fix it on my end. A black screen appears on both DS screens, where you can still hear the music but can't do anything. Afterwards, instead of opening the twilight console menu when you press Down + L + select, the DS lite turns off. The game usually freezes with the dark screen whenever the screen changes like encountering a Pokemon in the grass, or entering a building.
Game Console: DS lite
Launch Method: Micro SD from R4iSDHC .com card, TwiLightMenu.
Twilight version: v27.10.0
nds-bootstrap version: v2.0.2
A little more lore, ignore it unless you're curious:
The HGSS files with apfix, xenophobia, or just some number version number included in the file name made no difference.
From my understanding, this error might be due to patches or antipirate software but my knowledge is baseline at best.
