or better
$ amixer -c 0 contents | grep -A 2 'HDMI/DP

Expected behavior

under HDMI/DP,pcm=3 the values should be on, : values=on

Actual behavior

Even when running $ amixer -c 0 contents | grep -A 2 'HDMI/DP all values are off, even while audio is being played via the display with hdmi audio.

On v0.9.1-rc5. Kernel 6.8.0-44 on Ubuntu 24.04 lts is used the results are the same, but the audio playback does not work. I think i might have been mistaken and the audio I had heard was carried via displayport. On Kernel 6.9 the audio and display do not work at all due to problems with Nvidia drivers.
