We are seeing the following warning, but its not clear how to resolve it, or what the impact is.

This is warning is benign. But it should not be really logged at warning level.

Any update regarding this issue ?

• If it's a benign warning when we can expect that it will be logged as info ?
• what changes we should do in dd-agent config to resolve this error ?

The feature was disabled by default (#8342) so it is not going to log this warning even if you are not using it.

For now, you can just provide -Ddd.profiling.smap.collection.enabled=false to disable it and the warning will go away.
